Intempo combines stunning aesthetics with enhanced audio to create InFusion; an iPod speaker-dock with DAB radio

Sleek, cutting edge, hi-tech audio; the Intempo InFusion combines the dual functionality of DAB and FM radio, loaded into an iPod speaker-dock. Available from mid September in a high-gloss black and chrome finish, InFusion will retail for £99 from Amazon, Comet and John Lewis.

InFusion brings together Intempo's renowned style with ease-of-use. The iPod docking cradle is a sculptured design which curves away from the speaker body, to make accessing your iPod controls as easy in the dock as in your hand.

InFusion's contemporary looks don't compromise its sound quality. Intempo has incorporated 25watt speakers and an integrated subwoofer for a deep, rich, room-filling stereo sound. Switching between iPod, DAB or FM listening is simple, with the tactile touch buttons or the full-function remote, which lets you access your iPod listings menu and adjust the treble and bass controls.

Loading DAB and FM radio into iPod speakers proved a great success with our first product, the RDi. InFusion offers a similar convergence of technology and this is a trend we will see continuing into 2009, said Gareth Thomas, Product Manager for Intempo.

InFusion had to make a statement of intent and we think we've done that. The size of the unit means it's ideal to use by the bedside as an alarm-dock. But its audio performance means it will not be out of place at a party either. Gareth concluded.

InFusion is compatible with the entire iPod family although it will not charge the iPod Shuffle in the docking cradle.
